Wild boar satay

This succulent wild boar satay is a real flavor enhancer for any barbecue. Marinating the steak for a few hours (or preferably overnight) in a mixture of ketjap, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger gives it a delicious, full flavor that perfectly complements the rich satay sauce. Whether you're hosting a summer BBQ or simply craving a special dish, this wild boar satay is perfect for sharing!

Ingredients:

    Preparation:

    1. Start by cutting the wild boar steak into pieces of +/- 3 centimeters

    2. Finely chop the red onion, pepper, garlic and thumb ginger and throw this in a bowl with the meat, add 4 tablespoons of ketjap and 3 tablespoons of soy sauce

    3. Cover with plastic wrap and let it marinate overnight or for a few hours

    4. Thread the meat onto skewers or skewers and let it sit at room temperature for an hour before putting it on the barbecue.

    5. Grill the satay for 3 minutes per side and serve with satay, enjoy!
