Sometimes we wonder if we can make every dish predetarian, and so far we have always succeeded. And sometimes it works surprisingly well, this Thai beef salad with deer is one of them. Super easy and delicious to eat during the week or on a sunny evening.

Ingredients
- 4 venison steaks
- 1 large bag of mixed lettuce blend
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 handful fresh mint leaves, coarsely chopped
- 1 handful fresh coriander leaves, coarsely chopped
- 1 handful of roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped
- sesame seeds for garnish
- Oil for frying (e.g. peanut oil or coconut oil)
Dressing: - 4 tablespoons lime juice
- 3 tablespoons (vegan) fish sauce
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 3 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1 red chili, finely chopped (optional, to taste)
Preparation method:
- Mix all the dressing ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan over high heat. Fry the steaks for 2 minutes per side and let it rest for 10 minutes in aluminum foil
- Divide the lettuce over a large serving bowl. Place the red onion slices, cucumber and chopped herbs on top.
- Cut the venison into thin slices and place on top of the salad.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and venison steak.
- Garnish the salad with chopped roasted peanuts and sesame seeds
Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing and tasty Thai deer steak salad!
