For the meat
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 red pepper, finely chopped
5 tbsp breadcrumbs
Small bunch of parsley (15 g), finely chopped
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground paprika powder
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper
2 tbsp olive oil

Preparation method
Preparing the minced meat
In a large bowl, combine the ground venison, finely chopped onion, garlic, red pepper, breadcrumbs, fresh parsley, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Knead everything well together until you have a smooth mixture.
Making the köfte
Form the ground meat mixture into small oblong balls or oval shapes.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Fry the venison kofte in batches for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve
Serve warm with pieces of Turkish bread or pita, possibly with lemon wedges, chopped parsley, tzatziki and hummus.
