These venison skewers are perfect for a summer barbecue and offer plenty of variety with three delicious marinades. Choose an oriental marinade with garlic and hoisin, an Italian version with herbs like thyme and rosemary, or the refreshing coriander-cumin marinade. Marinating the venison overnight allows the flavors to penetrate deeply into the meat, making the skewers wonderfully juicy and flavorful. Perfect for a relaxed barbecue evening with friends and family!

Number of persons: 4

Preparation time: 20 minutes plus overnight marinating

Ingredients:

Oriental marinade:
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 red pepper
  • 50 ml hoisin
  • sesame oil
Italian marinade:
  • 2 tbsp thyme
  • 2 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp rosemary
  • 4 tbsp parsley
  • 1 lemon
Coriander-cumin marinade
  • 5 tbsp fresh coriander
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • little thumb ginger
  • 1 lime

    Preparation:

    1. Cut the steaks into 3 centimeter cubes

    2. Combine all the marinade ingredients and mix with the meat

    3. Let it marinate overnight and then thread it onto skewers

    4. Grill the skewers for 2 minutes per side on a hot barbecue.
